‘Living in the material world’ is the current working title of my thesis that I’m conducting in the Doctor of Design program of Harvard Graduate School of Design.

A new technological revolution that has the potential to impact our everyday lives is currently happening: we can conceive, design, make and build things in a way that has seemingly unlimited creative potential, both at amateur and professional levels through new technological devices such as 3D printers and robots. In this research, I’m looking in particular at the relationship we have with objects and materialism in the broader context of this digital fabrication revolution.

Please check the blog in the future to follow my research with case studies, projects I stumble upon, or general questions I’m looking at.
